We donate a percentage of all sales to registered charities that work to alleviate childhood poverty in mexico.

Good Taco was created with an ambitious goal of alleviating childhood poverty in Mexico. After spending time working with the families of Primo Tapia, through Casa De Luz Children’s Centre, I grew to love the people and the food. I wanted to be part of the solution in helping provide people with a hand up out of poverty. While, at the same time bringing back the traditional taqueria flavours and hand made recipes to Canada.

With ongoing operations in Canada and Mexico it keeps us anchored. Celebrating traditional flavours of Mexico and an ongoing way to raise funds to help make a difference alleviating childhood poverty.

The Tortilla

Our traditional tortilla recipe is the base that sets our food apart. We offer corn and flour options in our 5” tortilla and flour only in our 12” for burritos and quesadillas

We offer non house made Gluten Free / Vegan options to support guests with dietary restrictions.

Authentic Taqueria Flavours

Our recipes have been developed in Baja California, Mexico. We use traditional cooking techniques, spices, and recipes to create authentic Mexican Taqueria flavours. We stay connected to authenticity with our sister store in operations Buen Taco, in Primo Tapia, Baja California, Mexico.

Our commissary support ensures recipes are perfect every time, while simplifying the restaurant operation. This allows our franchise partners to focus on building strong teams and delivery amazing guest experiences.

We believe in being a business with a purpose beyond profits. Our depth of commitment to giving back and making a difference helps guide everything we do. Our goal is first and foremost to alleviate childhood poverty within Mexico and the reason we give a percentage of every sale to charity with this purpose.

Good Taco operates without a brand and advertising fund. We focus on premium locations that have strong foot traffic. We are looking for expansion opportunities in premium food halls, A+ mall food courts, and high traffic street front locations
